The previous 12-months have been an exciting time for Clicksuasion Labs, and the Lab’s state is strong. We’ve acquired Novae Design Group, expanded our team, facilitated more than 200 consumer behavior studies, designed and launched more than 100-marketing campaigns, and continue to close the loop between academic research and applied marketing.
Many business leaders read research and insights from published books, which are often popular within their industry and peers. Yet, the results of the studies are usually 10-15 years old. I’m often concerned about the reliability and validity of research results once the studies are published in books because the authors likely received a book or publishing offer many years following data collection and analysis.
At the Lab, we’re actively closing the loop between academic research and marketing campaigns by collecting timely consumer data, which allows us to provide real-time, actionable, and relevant recommendations to our clients and partners.
On May 11, 2021, Clicksuasion Labs acquired Novae Design Group. Combined, Clicksuasion Labs is the full-service marketing agency and trusted advisor of consumer psychology to business, government, and the global citizen. Together, we are closing the loop.
The Clicksuasion family has grown during the previous year. We’ve welcomed Cyndi Fifield as the Chief Marketing Officer; Anna Silverman as Lab Manager; Jess Morales as Graphic Designer; Wendy Hubbard as Data Analyst; Shannon Butler as Copywriter/editor; and Catie Fromknecht, Lindy Lamielle, Katana Lemelin, and Shiann Hagan as Marketing Consultants.
During the COVID-19 pandemic, researchers at the Lab studied how people reacted to societal norms, scarce inventory, perceptions of the pandemic, and how consumer behavior changed. We continue to collect data, understand consumer behavior, and advise our clients and partners on best engaging with their audiences. To date, we’ve learned how people tolerate customer effort, perceive personal and community protection, perceive sanitation and cleanliness, and how consumers engage with brand corporate social responsibility, amongst many more insights.
During the Spring of 2021, Clicksuasion released the inaugural Clicksights magazine. The Clicksights magazine is a practitioner’s guide to learning and applying consumer psychology within their brand. Clicksights will publish quarterly – the next issue will release on September 28, 2021.
Several Clicksuasion-led studies are in peer-review for academic journals, and we will share the results on a stage near you. Our team is scheduled to speak at conferences throughout the next 24-months, where we will share actionable and relevant insights for marketing and consumer decision-making.
